Good luck booking an appointment with a chiropractor or therapist anywhere in Austin this week! The Texas Rollergirls are using every available professional to put themselves back together after Sunday night's games.

Honky Tonk Heartbreakers put yet another victory notch on their headboards. But raise a beer to the Hustlers who put up one helluva fight! Somethin' like 76 of the 82 documented bruises came from this game... and almost all of the penalties! By the end of the first half -- with a score of Heartbreakers 17 to Hustlers 11 -- fans started placing bets that the Hustlers would finally put a stop to the Heartbreaker's winning streak.

Didn't know you could get energy drinks by the keg, but that must have been what the Heartbreakers did during half time because Slim Kickins, Buckshot Betsy and Loosetooth LuLu hit the first three jams of the second half on fire and put the point spread at nearly a mile. And if that wasn't enough, the Heartbreakers D lassoed the Hustlers and kept them from scoring for the rest of the game. Final Score: Heartbreakers 34, Hustlers 16

Hotrod Honeys put themselves one step closer to the Championship Game, beating the Hell Marys for the second time this season. The game seemd to be on-track to be evenly-matched: the first half had the scores tied at 4, then at 8, then at 11. Can you say "neck and neck"?! But in the 5th jam Cat Tastrophe couldn't take it anymore and put herself into hyper speed. She ratcheted up the lead, but not by too much. At the end of the first half, it was still any (bad) girl's game, with the score at Hotrod Honeys 23, Hell Marys, 19.

Lucille Brawl, Cat Tastrophe, and Rice Rocket snagged some of that energy drink and tore it up during the first three jams of the second half, leaving the Hell Marys with a point spread they just couldn't overcome. Rebellika gave jammin' a test-drive for the Hotrod Honeys and got a good taste of the Hell Marys' jammer-killin' blocking skills. But she managed to take home a pretty fluffy little trophy; she plans to sell Bunny Rabid's cotton tail to the fellas over at Austinist. As Rhiannon at the Austin American-Statesman said, "...it's all fun and games, until someone loses a cotton tail." Final Score: Hotrod Honeys 46, Hell Marys 33
