Back in the early days of disco balls and electric dance floors is just about the time this diva roller dame arose. It all happened when two starstruck eyes met from across the dancefloor -- instant ignition. Trixie Stardust and Sly the DJ Funkmaster came together in what was known to have made the sparks start a'flying. Their passion for the groovy hit tunes that Sly was known for throwing and the sex-a-licious moves that Trixie used to mesmerize her groupie followers united as one and at that very moment Dinah-Mite was born. Always around the hippest cats and the coolest of cool dudes, Dinah-Mite had to learn how to keep up and get down with all the funkiness. 'Bout that time, she was struck by the roller skatin' spirit. She usually spent her time hanging out at the roller joint to play foosball for a little extra cash on the side. But one night she realized what had been right under her nose the whole time: ALL WOMEN ROLLER DERBY To everyone's dee-lite, she decided to put her time and her dough into something that she really dug. After a few good runs at the foosball table, she had a sweet stash of cash and decided to put it to good use. After hooking up with a few of the other disco dames from the Hustlers, she realized this was it and that she had found her place. Dinah-Mite felt reborn. She jumped at the Hustlers offer to become what she has always been ... an electric slidin', funky jivin', roller skatin' double deluxe Hustler in motion. |
