The Hotrod Honeys and the Hustlers fully intend to reopen old wounds when the first whistle blows. Last year, the Hustlers looked like the only team who could challenge the Honeys' two season undefeated streak, but a disappointing 88-24 showing at the championship game gave the Hotrods a second straight title. Now, the Hustlers are back in 2010 with a newly shaken up roster and a violet vendetta. They had the Honeys on the run during February's Round Robin mini-match up, but the Hotrods managed to scrape out a razor-thin 16-13 win in the final seconds of the game--their closest victory in recent memory. The Hotrods never back down from a fight, however, and they're ready to remind their sisters in spandex who's boss. Will the Honeys stay in the sweet spot, or is this the year the Hustlers demolish the dynasty?
The Hell Marys and Honky Tonk Heartbreakers are no strangers to friction. In 2009, the sassy schoolgirls lost their first bout against the cowgirls 35-73, and they narrowly failed to make the grade when the Heartbreakers edged out a nail-biting 45-43 victory in the final game of the year. But the Hells have done their homework and they aced the Heartbreakers 16-10 during February's season opener. Can the Marys make it happen when it counts, or will the girls in gingham break hearts once again?
Introductions are over and the gloves are off. Come watch as hard hits and hard feelings explode on the track!
